So I had a Samsung 55HU8500 and I was extremely happy with it in all respects. UHD and all the functions I needed and, yes, faster than my iPad. In May - armed robbery. Pistol held at my wife's head and the tv is cassually carried out by the other 3 of the 4 kind gentlemen. In a very very very rare instance - quite shocking actually - the insurance pays out. But no more 8500 flat panels. Only curved. So I opt for the Q7LED. Tremendous dissapointment. Too much red hue in any mode (I normally watch in standard or natural mode). The dynamic mode is too bright so I never use said mode. But it can stream Showmax - the LG OLED can't (multichoice exclusivity monopoly you see. I gave up repeat tv ( I mean dstv) in January 2016 and only stream over the 'net. Motion jitter and pixelling quality are really annoying. I did not see any of that on the LG OLED. My personal opinion is that the LG OLED picture quality far exceeds the Samsung QLED technology. Your views (excuse the pun)?
