We are so so so lucky in this country that because of various reasons, a bunch of these speakers were dumped on the public for ridiculous prices. (someone know full story ? I have bits). I know people that bought their sets for R15k NEW.... for a $12000 speaker ?  :nutter: :faint: :faint:

So I bought a set, swapped it for B&W802's, sold the B&W's years later and now have 2905's again.

I have read several reviews where the reviewer claim them to be the best speaker in the world (Ok nowadays the Vivid G1's have taken that title)

With 60% of the music out there... I agree! I am so so shocked by these things. Today SACD of Pink Floyd, Dark side of the moon, bliksim where does that bass come from ? but the detail and air!

I cannot imagine these on nice valve amps! 100W+ though

Valveglo - should we try Quad II's ?  >:D

Anyone tried that ? Any experiences ?
Im asking because quite a few set floats around..... I will never sell mine again... wow
