I'm looking at upgrading to a better helmet, that I can use for daily commute - in 2 or 3 months.
The Vega that I currently use, is an entry level helmet. And while this is not too terrible (it also includes the inner shades)... it's very noisy when i'm using the 600 cc, as opposed to my daily 180 cc.
Apart from this, the helmet is getting a bit old and I need a better helmet as already mentioned.
What I hope to get from the new helmet, with a budget of about 4k'ish or there about.
- A quiet helmet (I've tried some Arai/Airoh helmets at around R9k which were not as quiet (but super light) as a 3k Shark Helmet, so i really hope someone out there can recommend a gem)
- Light
- Inner shades (I really don't feel like carrying around two visors).
- Bluetooth insert
