R1400 Kettle Cord

I saw an ad for an upgrade power cable for R1400. Pure copper and all an all.
I agree more copper more power, but 2.5mm cap tire goes for R15 a meter.
My problem with the whole idea is you only upgrade the last meter, what about the rest of the wiring in the house?
