Me and a few friends are doing the 9 hour iLamuna in May and I've been looking for a car communication solution that doesn't cost more that our MK1 Golf!
I've had a look at bluetooth in ear buds, but I'm not sure how comfortable they will be under a full face helmet and I'm not sure if the mic will pick up voice through the helmet. Old school wired earbuds looks like a better option as they have a dedicated mic, but phones don't have the 3.5mm jacks anymore, so its more wires and adapters. I have found that while racing it's best not to be thinking about wires pulling out and that other time you should have pulled out.
Any other novel ideas I'm missing?
