I  really love the way this gem makes music but....it has the upgraded boards in it and the valve rectifier's socket is empty...everytime i listen to her i cant help but wonder if that dreadful solidstate device is robbing me of something that a glorious fat tube can provide?I've never heard her with a valve rectifier...can this be reversed easily...i'd love to fill that vacant space. Is it true that the valves suffer more punishment as a result of the solidstate rectifier?Would the sound change dramatically?Would love to hear from users of this amp or its big brother.Thanks.
