Random thing: Listening to Open-back headphones and speakers at the same time.

So this is very random, and many must have had the same experience before, but have you ever tried listening to a song on open-back headphones and stereo speakers at the same time? At the moment my setup uses the same DAC/Headphone amp for both my speakers and my headphones with a level out and a headphone amp. Usually I switch between the two as needed, but sometimes (like just now) I've had both on at the same time. The effect is quite interesting, I suppose it creates some distortion, but is very interesting to hear the music from the headphones while also "feeling" the music (especially the base) like one does with speakers. The sound itself is also interesting.

Don't know whether this is one of those "duh" things, but I've not heard anyone talking about it before.
