Available: Range Rover P38 for towing away. Willing to pay for towing up to 1000km. No other cash adjustments though...
Ok, just kidding - for now! Keep an eye on this thread if interested, you never know next week this time... ;D
Need advice:
Problems started with car battery draining mysteriously overnight. Had to recharge every day. Eventually replaced battery, but problem persisted.
Eventually the Rangie decided to immobilize itself - engine turns over, but doesn't start. From what I can find on the internet, it seems that the BECM lost sync with the key remote. Solutions: either buy some dongle from the UK (around 120 pounds), buy Land Rover or third party diagnostic software (at @*#@ 'd prices!), or get it to Land Rover to reset the sync. Pffft! What if the problem returns somewhere in the bundus??
Any suggestions? I do have a cable to connect laptop to the computer - used it to keep the EAS behaving.
Thank you. (Sigh)
PS. No funny comments from Toyota fans! Whole thing began with my Corolla's gearbox giving up the ghost, so I had to use the Rangie daily. ;D
