I have a Micro Seiki MB14 with a dead left channel. Traced it to a problem with the hot wire. I don't have decent wires to replace both channels, so I can sacrifice an old interconnect or 2 but was wondering if it would be worth modifying the table by putting in rca  females. Might as well put in a kettle cord receptacle at the same time as well as an earth post. Would make transport easier and gives flexibility for choosing interconnects. I'm sure this must have been done before? Or just get some decent wire somewhere and replace?
