Hello Comrades, some advice please.

I would like to play around with bi-amping, I know it's mostly a fools game, but I've got time and old kit!

I would like to use one amp to drive the HF and another the LF, different amps.

Is it safe enough to make up some Y interconnects, read something about matching impedance between source and amps etc.?

Alternatively should I just use a tape out of the preamp for the second amp? Could the levels between the pre-out and tape out be different?

Thanks!
