So I have this old EAD DAC and as can be seen, the plating was polished at some point in the past.
Which makes it look a little less than pretty.
The engraved branding is still intact though.

I could either have it re-plated OR is there a way to strip the gold plating and go black instead?
In which case I'd want to have the ingraved writing filled in with white ink.
Afaik the material used is brass.
Which is the smartest way to go (I would prefer black but don't know if it'll be worth the cost if possible)?
