Hi All,
Currently I have my B&W M1 rears wall mounted at ear level on either side of a 3 seater couch. The rears are slightly angled inwards towards the ear. Its give excellent surround sound . Sounds like you are in the movie or concert when watching.
However I read in the forum that the the speakers should be higher than the ear level as this is not correct, now if I look at marketing material from manufacturers they always show the rears on stands that are ear level as well.
Soon my rears will be replaced with Monitor Audio GX50 Bookshelves and my plan is too wallmount them with Vogels speaker brackets. How high should they be mounted. Other option is to get an additional stand and place them on either side of the couch, would this be okay then.
