I had a look, and the Sub I have, is not the YST SW60 like I initially though, but the YST SW160
Now the sub has some bumped corners and the protective cloth is damaged, the wood underneith 3 of the screw holes are damaged, so screws can now longer go in there etc...
So, I have a sub that sounds utterly amazing, but does not look so great.
The YST SW160 has 2 x 8" woofers.
I'm now looking to build a new box for it. Currently It is hosted in an upright box which does not fit in with my entertainment area's future design.
I've seen many subs come in cube shaped boxes, and would like the design to be more or less the same.
I will measure the insides and calculate the exact volume, then design a cube with the same.
Any pointers where I should start?
If this is a bad idea, please tell me, Then I will rather try and find someone to redo the veneer, and add some toothpics or matches in the holes that can no longer be used for screws.
