Petrol over R16/L.
The company I work shows a clear decline in revenue after multiyear 20% growth during the past 4 years, our resignations are increasing with a clear emphasis on a decline in disposable cash.
With the 1% increase in VAT and petrol taking a solid extra chunk out of household pockets they won't be able to hide it for much longer.
Coupled with an estimated R400 000 000 000.00 disappeared through corruption with no consequences it's not looking good in the short to medium term for us.
I'm not normally a doomsayer and I would most certainly love this country to succeed, but it not.
