Looking for a decent multimeter, not too expensive. Must be easy to use (I'm not that bright) and relatively tough as it'll probably be used for general around-the-house work as well as finer work when I finally get around to DIY amp building. Something that's good value for money. Or...is it better to buy a decent one for fine work and a cheapie for general work. I've looked at Mantech but don't really know which model to go for.
There seems to be a huge gap in prices, can get one from builders for R140 or the Fluke jobbies on Mantech for R4,000 plus.
