I'm looking for any recommendations for an affordable AV Receiver (5.1) with pre-outs. It doesn't have to have support for the latest and greatest formats and HDMI isn't a requirement. Any ideas?
As a side note: I find it very odd that the lower-end, thus low-powered AV Receivers don't make provision for adding more power later by incorporating pre-outs. I have a crappy, dusty old h/k AV20 with pre-outs, but the new Yamaha receiver doesn't - why don't we see them anymore today?
