Hello there all,
Recently my Nad amp had a slight bit of PMS and sent DC straight thru the the speakers, frying one of them in the process (I'm not bothered, i didn't like them anyway ). However, the amp has been repaired and back to full functionality. Now, I'd like to hear what all of you would do if you had R1000 to spend on 2 bookshelf speakers. Would you:
A. Buy new from a "connection"
B. Buy a demo model speaker from a respected retailer somewhere (providing there are actually good bookshelf speakers for that price range)
C. Hit gumtree and the classifieds here on the forum to find a good second hand set of speakers?
I'm leaning towards option C myself but would like to find out what the others here would do?
