A friend of mine is part of a small-time band and wants to record their jam sessions.
They use a mixer/amp for amplification and all the instruments are connected to this. What would be the best way of recording from the mixer/amp?
Would it be possible to connect a DVD recorder to the mixer line-out and record directly to DVD? How do you control the levels doing it this way? They have done a recording using a tape deck and off course there you can control the input levels.
Any suggestions that would not break the bank?
