Red "snow" on my HDMI image.

I have red "snow" in the dark areas of my HDMI 1080p image. The HDMI cable is 10m long, but quite thick.

The connections go as follows: Media Box ---> 1m HDMI ----> Onkyo 608 AVR ---> 10m HDMI to the Projector.

Also, I have to bend the cable at a certain angle to get a signal. Like it is not making good contact with the Onkyo's HDMI port.

Any ideas?
