I acquired a set of Yamaha NS-1000M Monitors and they are matching serial and L & R speakers.
Condition is not pristine and there is an issue with a Bass Driver, possibly both of them.
Saw the NS-1000 and love the look so I am hoping someone can apply a veneer for me to the existing cases while I am having the woofers sorted.
The speakers could also do with stands and was wondering about the possibility of adding a Sub Woofer under each speaker.
Maybe a 15" with a separate crossover to split signal....? Ok, I can admit this may be a silly idea and can easily go with a separate subwoofer.
I have an Aviano 7 MS Sub in brand new condition never been put into service for more than a few hours at best.
Also have a paper cone MK Sub, the Volkswoofer Ver I.
So, who can assist with the speaker cases to apply a veneer?
What Ideas would you have and I am sure someone out there is going to say keep them original...
The other option on the cases would be to have them sanded super smooth and then painted gloss black with a few coats of clear & hardner to match the finish I want to apply to the removable cover and top of the MK Sub....
