I'm thinking of mounting two arms on a new lenco l75 build, read on the net:

" a mounting distance of 222mm is not optimal if your intention is to have a baerwald aligment. It is only optimal when you follow rega recommandations (i.e a quiet stevenson aligment). You should consider the RB300 as a 237mm lenght tonearm and mount it consequently at 219.5mm from the spindle center."

But when I think of Jaco's experience with his Ortofon mm2 blue that had to be mounted so far back in the headshell that he couldn't use it, I actually thought of increasing the mounting distance, moving the cartridge forward in the headshell/ aligning it to the front edge. If the overhang is kept at 15mm, all that will change is the arc in between the 2 nulpoints that will become flatter (?more like a longer tone arm), offset might be off very slightly?.

The 2 arms are : Rega 200/ Ortofon MM2 Red and Rega 202/ Ortofon Vivo Red

Jaco's arm  was a Linn, but even on the Rega 202 the Mm2 is about 6mm from the front edge of the headshell, looks kinda stupid
