First thing I noticed is the rotation looks more "purposeful" not sure how to describe it but once spinning it just looks more stable and like it actually wants to be turning. I guess it's due to the extra weight of the metal subplatter, swapping records also doesn't dip the speed as much as it used to.Not sure if it sounds much different, only thing I really thought I heard was a bit more attack on the low stuff.Very happy though, that standard Rega subplatter was :cr@p:, always had a gripe with it.</blockquote>
