Does anyone have any idea why REL Storm mk-I produces nothing-nada-zilch when connected to sub-outs, but it does work when receiving the signal from the "tape" outs?
I ran the "7.1 test sound" program on the receiver:
- My other sub work perfectly fine from the sub-outs
- two different rca-to-xlr cables were tried on the REL
- there is a "thump" when powered on (and yes, it works form the fixed level outputs)
I would suspect:
- either the unusual input sensitivity
- or something unusual with REL's XLR wiring, perhaps?
I could not find any manual/spec. reference on the Net for the mk-I. Plenty of mk-III, but they are as different as anything, so no reference point there.
Any ideas? Thanks, Mike
