useful to mention a piece of software I purchased recently that's nicely
configurable and programmable to control nearly all functions on your PC.
INTELLIREMOTE is developed by Melloware and is widely regarded as the BEST
in it's class. It's not freeware but it's worth the asking price imo as there's nothing
else that offers the compatibility and support of nearly all media centre remotes.
Also, you could contact Melloware before buying and ask for a discount. I ended
up paying just $15 for this (less than half the selling price) but of course this may
differ per person. The amount is once-off and you get free program updates until forever
