Repair specialist - CT northern suburbs

Hi all,

Who in the CT area has a good reputation for repairs of older - perhaps not quite 'vintage' - components? I have a Rotel CD player which refuses to open the motorized tray.
Also an older '70s Marantz receiver, which needs new bulbs/lamps to light up the beautiful blue tuning band display.

Any suggestions or sources for perhaps doing it myself?
