I just got hold of a Theta Data Basic CD Transport. Cosmetically it's in very good condition. However it Is in need of some repairs: it powers up intermittently; the tray doesn't always open when it is powered; and I think the laser will need replacing. I think it will be worth repairing - I just hope that the cost won't be too high. I got the matching Thetha DS Pro Prime II Dac which makes me want to have the CDP repaired.
Can anyone on the forum repair this and I will pay for parts and a reasonable price for labour?
