Hi all.
As per my other posts.
I am sitting with 3 half working decks.
My older nak 580m. Goes on ff and play us a bit stuck with heads not lifting and hense no sound.
Then the ferro series 6. Powers up and turns and everything , but looks like someone fiddled with the heads as there are some loose wires as well as no sound and it looks like the pads are worn a bit.. All valves light up.
Now it's the Sony tc630 , beautifully and well looked after , but music sound like you are playing in FF mode...
At least this one got sound.
Now I only require one if these. The prob is I need them all fixed properly to audition them and decide which one works best for my system.
I then would like to use the other two as a mechanism to pay for the work done.
Or is it possible that because these all power up etc... That the work required shouldn't be too much , cause then I can get them fixed and perhaps sell one only to cover the costs and keep the others as a main one and a backup one then.
Any ideas , recommendations ?
Any people that you guys could refer me to as well that does good work perhaps ?
Really appreciate anything cause these are now just standing and I don't have all that space to hoard.
