Anyone here own a small franchise or have experience in the franchise business world?
Father in law have been retrenched and want out of his line of profession. He is still very capable work wise and want to start some line of revenue.
He is not willing to risk his retirement savings but have about half a bar to invest.
Franchising looks attractive. Obviously there is lots of risk.
But for 8 to 5 professionals without luck or entrepreneurial flair and only hard work to offer, it seems the way to go.
Which industry? Or is there better options? I myself is an 8 to 5 drone and have no better ideas to offer.
I'm sure some in the forum community have experience in this or has walked this path before?
