well... here's a follow up on my "road trip" post, to which i must thank ludo for his input. however, unfortunately i didnt get to go to any of the places that i would like, and did nothing or so nothing at all related to our common interest.
if anyone did read the thread, the whole point of this exercise was to "find my useless AR$E a job". the plan was to spend the month of April there and secure employment asap. easier said than done. interviews were KAK as usual. and for the first time in my life i got "...we think you may be over qualified for this position and you might get bored here...". so most of my time was spent running between interviews and receiving negative responses.
and at the end of april... i went back home.

however, one time was different..
which meant that i had to move back up to pretoria a week later.... so i did find my useless ar$e a job after all.
trouble is... i had to leave 80% of my kit behind.
but no problem... now i can rebuild. :
