I've just downloaded the latest REW beta and found a room simulator - basically you insert room dimensions and listening position and it'll show you modal distribution for the room using lines that are colour-coded according to the axes involved.  On top of that you can add absorption measurements to front, back, left, right, ceiling and floor to get more accurate results.  You can position your speakers and up to four subwoofers in the room and move them and your listening position to wherever you'd like them to see a real-time representation of your room's acoustic response.  Perfectly predicts what happens in my room as things are at present (except as modified by diffusion and bass traps), explains the origin of my null.

In case it isn't immediately obvious, this is a fantastic development and a killer feature addition to what is already fantastic software.  Brilliant for understanding what room dimensions do, determining optimal speaker and listening position placement and diagnosing room response issues.  :Whoohoo:
