I made up a RG58 cable as an alternative to my optic. This made the lows tighter but slightly reduced the stereo imaging. I have now made up a RG6/U cable and wow; the tighness of the lows is still there and the vocals have much more authority - this I heard straight away. To make sure I wasn't imagining things, I switched forth and back between RG6/U and optic and there is definately a difference.
