I am trying to get a decent rip of Diana Krall's Live In Paris DVD that only has AC3 2.0/5.1 as well as DTS 5.1 soundtracks, i.e. no LPCM :( I am not sure how to go about it and whether it is worth it. I previously ripped the last song, A Case Of You, in 24/48 and it turned out sounding quite good. However, when I used DVD Audio Extractor to rip the rest from the AC3 2.0 soundtrack, I ended up with a 16/48 soundtrack that sounds thinnish and iffy. Any suggestions or is this doom to fail? How about the DTS soundtrack to stereo...should that not theoretically yield the best result (perhaps that is what I did last time around when ripping that one song)?
