I embarked on a large ripping exercise on Sunday. I discovered Exact Audio Copy and it's error checking etc seems good etc.
I will be ripping to flac losslessly.
Now while I was driving to work I was wondering what the most future proof format is. I've been using flac for some time and its great. But please advise me if there is something else I should be doing instead.
I have only ripped 5 out of 240 discs so now is the time to make changes if necessary. Other OT tips welcome. Just please dont vehemently recommend something equivalent (eg software wise) just out of preference. I am looking to uncover material issues & concerns here - not issues of preference.
