since i've taken in my NAD amp for testing, i have currently on loan a rotel power amp the RA 1520. it is rated at a modest 60w/c, but boy oh boy does it sing!! it sounds way superior (more refined) to my NAD amp suddenly my cdp sounds like a multi million dollar cdp. so it got me thinking, is it that the pre amp on my NAD, is not up to scratch? can i upgrade my NAD amp with a rotel pre amp? or should i ditch my NAD amp for a ROTEl? upgraditis is biting once more...
