Do you think this combo is a good idea? I have these items spare and a friend wants to buy them to hook up to a Harman Kardon Receiver. I know it is overkill as the speakers are rated at 200 watts and the amp is 360/channel. I don't want to sell this to him in this configuration if it is not a good idea.
That said, speakers usually perform better with more power... I have even for a couple of days hooked up a previous pair of 683's to this amp with stunning results and they are even smaller.
