I am very disappointed with the sound of my CD player, i have had it for about three months now, and  not much improvement from my Marantz CD5001.is there any mods that can be done,or can i add an external dac? Or should i rather just look for something else. this would be my last option as i would not want to spoil the look of my rotel system.

Any suggestions
