On Friday I picked up a Rotel RCD-855 CDP at my local Cash Crusaders for R450 and I am very pleased 
I thought the NAD CDP I had before sounded good, but after listening to the Rotel the NAD sounds like a cheap unit.
My only concern is that the laser pickup may not last for long. Can the transport mechanism be replaced with another drive?
