Yes, I know, a difficult question, but bear with me:
Option 1: Buy a Rotel RB-1080 in very good condition
Option 2: Buy an Emotiva of similar output like the XPA-2 / XPA-3?
These Emotivas cost pretty much the same as a well looked after RB-1080.
Intended use: replacing a Rotel RB-1070 currently driving a set of B&W DM 683s via a Marantz SR5004 AVR.
The RB-1070 is not doing a bad job, but you know the itch caused by the dreaded audio disease... ;D
