So I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, I did a search and I didn't see anything. Check out the RPM app in the App Store (don't know if it's available on android). It uses the phones built in gyroscope to work out the true pitch of your turntable. Thought it was pretty cool. So I tested it out on both my Thorens TD525 and Lenco L70. The Lenco gets closer to 33 RPM than the Thorens, although I'm guessing that's just a pot setting somewhere on the Thorens circuit board. Now while I could get the Lenco closer to 33RPM (33.05 vs the Thorens 33.39), the Thorens was way more accurate. So the app goes green when you have hit the right pitch consistently with little variation and you can set that accuracy tolerance. The Lenco was good for 1% (truthfully it's around 0.75%) while the Thorens was within 0.5%.

An interesting thing to see and the app is for free with a buy in to remove ads :) completely worth a look!
