Hello Ladies and gentlepeople....

Last night I roof mounted my projector (WOW, I think I hit a steel rebar or something as it took me 30 mins of drilling to put in 2 plugs and screws!). I want to put up some conduit tonight so that I can run my cables neatly, and thus my question:

Is it going to degrade my signal if I run my power cable (standard 220V) in the same trunking that holds my signal cable (Belkin Pure AV 15metre HDMI cable). From car sound you get big interferance if you run power and signal cable together, but HDMI is digital, so now I am not sure what to do?

If they do interfere, can I run a second trunking next to the first to move the HDMI and power cables further away from each other? Or do they need to be quite far from each other?

I will post up some pics once the whole thing is complete, I still need to mount my surround speakers and do some cable concealing.

Where is the best place to get cost efficient speaker cabling? I will prob need about 30 metres of it but I really can't afford to break the bank at the moment so I'd budget at R500 max, where will I get the best value/price/performance for that in Cape Town?
