Not sure if such a product exists. I need to upgrade my DAC as well as invest in a universal player. In the efforts to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, I was wondering if there are universal disc devices that have D/A inputs. Multiple would be great, such as USB ( as in for a PC, not a thumb drive) and optical, etc.... It will integrate with a stereo setup, there's no AVR....
....So for instance, my TVs optical signal can use the players DAC through its optical input, or a mini media PC through a USB input. Does such a device exist?
I have estimated budget of around R15000.00... Is this possible?
