Greetings all. Some may know me from a small little car forum tucked away in the lavatory end of the interweb....
I am sorely tempted to sell my 47" Sinotec (which has served me fukken well) and splash R21K on this:
8000 Series 3D 1080p LED HDTV
Or to go for the 55" 7 series at R37K (keeping in mind it is highly, highly unlikely I will spend R37K on a TV).
What do the AV guys think? Please note that there is no way in hell I will ever purchase a plasma so don't even suggest it. Oh, the TV will be hooked up to PS3 (for both gaming and BD) as well as a mede8er and Sony DDW5000 system.
Also, silly question I know, but will I notice much of a difference between the 47" screen size I currently enjoy to the 46" of the Samsung?
When I bought the Sinotec in 2007, I promised myself 5 years with it and now that time is up. I must say, it hasn't missed a beat and my mates always comment on the quality. The missus has stopped protesting and realises I am going to do with my cash what I want
