Let me set the scene.
I will have (as soon as the building renovations are finished) a HT room with 1080p/3D projector. I also have a microserver that runs xbmc that satisfies my "smart" function needs. So knowing that.. would you guys say this is a decent TV for the lounge/TV room that will mainly be used for DSTV and some series watching. I know this set is only 720p but to be honest I'm OK with that seeing as that's what DSTV broadcasts in.
The reason I'm considering this unit and not the E550 is two fold:
1. Financial ... I'm kinda tapped out after the overbudget alterations. :headbanger:
2. I think anything more would be overkill for my needs
So my question is.. do you guys think this TV will be good enough PQ-wise and satisfy me needs (I'm coming from a 5 year old 720p LCD unit)
