Hi guys, I'm hoping someone here can help with spec info on the UA55MU7000 - specifically the UA. There is a distinct lack of info on our UA model in South Africa.
I have a KS8500 (which I love) and am looking at buying a 55MU7000 as a second TV for gaming (it's budget related, otherwise I'd just buy another KS). I want to be sure I'm buying a 10-bit panel. So, my questions:
1. What is the equivalent US (Samsung model prefix is UN) or EU (Samsung model prefix is UE) model? Is it the 6 series overseas, and if so which 6 series, or is it actually a 7 series by international standards? (I doubt it)
2. Is it a 10-bit panel? Some overseas 6 series are 8-bit panels, and the higher end of the 6 series is 10-bit.
3. What is the peak brightness in nits? I believe it is around 350 nits which would point to it being a 6 series overseas, as overseas 7 series hit around 600 nits in a 10% window
I've researched this backwards and am struggling to find tech spec info specific to the UA55MU7000 sold in South Africa. Really hoping I can find some tech spec loving here for the UA55MU7000
