Sandfill

Hi all,

I realise this is a potentially stupid question but I won't know until I ask....

Can I use any particular sand to fill a speaker cavity or is there something specific I should go for?

The manual of my speakers:
"Floor standing models are also equipped with an internal sub-cavity, intended to be filled with sand with a grain size of more than 1mm."
