Right, so I ordered something small off eBay - R80 - couple of small value caps. From Turkey.
Little did I know that unknown employees at SAPO would go on a prolonged strike for reasons not disclosed. So I understand this will play havoc with deliveries and I don't rush it. The other day though, I thought well, I've checked the post office, the post box and the cupboard next to the fridge, and my package is not here - after ordering 18 April.
Mail the guy - sorry, I know its been forever, but did my stuff come back to you. This is what he says:

Wilropark is my postoffice. No notification, no : "Oh yeah, here in the back" when I went there to ask.
Called the post master - "Sorry, once it goes to CT its a gonner. No, the hub sends out notifications. "
