Solar cars being driven right around the country,in a international solar car race.

I went to the static scrutiny today at CSIR PTA,Japanese R10mill car being the lightest at 135kg with average 6m2 solar panels on all cars,
my money for the S.A. boys on the University of P.E. ,in the Challenger class,
with backing of R2 mill from Volkswagen S.A. and a hefty weight of 241kg for their first ever attempt. They only had 8 months to prepare.
Even the Japanese was impressed. :winkwink:
Japanese,Tokai University, will definitely win with annual budget of R100mill,and experience of 20 years.
The second best in the world, the University of Delft,Holland, crashed their car a couple of weeks ago.

Please support them when in your area, they start at CSIR, Tuesday 18 September, in the morning @7h00,for all Gauteng guys.

Please upload as much info as possible, with links, photo`s etc.
