Hello Gents.
The drive in my htpc ,+- 2 years old, is starting to fail. It is a 2Tb Seagate and was actually a warranty replacement for a previous Seagate. Either I am having bad luck, or that batch of Seagates were problematic.
I now need some help choosing a replacement from the following:
2Tb Seagate Barracuda(2 yr warranty): Bit weary after having the previous 2 fail on me.
2Tb Seagate SV35 (3 yr warranty): apparently optimised  for surveillance to run 24/7
2Tb Toshiba Dt01aca200: Warranty might be 1 or 2 yrs. Currently on special for R999.
  2Tb WD blue/green (2yr warranty)
Any input/opinions on the above wil be gladly appreciated.
Btw. The drive will be used to store music and movies.
My machine is only switched on +/- 4hrs a week.
Reliability is most important to me.
Thanx in advance/
