Greetings folks,

So, my cat knocked one of my floorstanding speakers over on saturday. The cabinet is slightly damaged, but the speaker sounds fine.

I had the speaker on spikes, but the spikes reduce the footprint of the speaker, making it easier to topple over.

Now, im thinking of ways to secure the speaker to prevent this from happening again.

For now, I've removed the spikes, so the speaker is sitting flat on its base. This has helped a bit, but the speaker still rocks quit easily.

Im thinking PRESTIK ... loads of Prestik, to stick the speaker to the tiled floor.

Is that a good idea, or bad idea? What sort of effect will it have on the sound?

Or any other suggestions?

Thanks!
