Selling diamonds / ring

Hi all. I know there was a topic similar to this a while back (but did not want to dredge it up or hijack the OP's thread).

What / where / who would you recommend for selling a ring or diamonds therein? Long story short - it is an engagement ring for a marriage that ended up not happening. Time to let go of the past and put the funds to better use.
